Why don't we accept credit cards?
Use of Credit cards enhances a seller's ability to "sell". It makes it really convenient to make a purchase, as well but we do not accept credit cards for the following reasons:
1, Credit card servicing adds a percentage to the total transaction. This added charge is built in to the price people pay for any given product or service. This amounts to a "hidden" price increase of anywhere between 2 and 4 percent.
2, If selling from a website, paying a shipper is inferred, adding to the cost of the product. Some products have a significant shipping charge, such as 55 gallon barrels. We want to save you money.
3, Credit Card information that is entered into a website becomes a potential goldmine for hackers. This is not to say we have anything poor to say about those hosting our site, or other merchants. This is purely a "If credit card information is hacked and misused, we certainly don't want it to be related to anything we do, nor our customers".
4, Our preference is for you, our client and customer to see the product when you are paying for it, and have any questions answered about it before you pay and we leave. Think of it as a personal delivery service.
